Enabling the 'Fuzzy Search' option lets you search anywhere in the name. Searching for 'Liz' will return every instance of 'liz', 'Elizabeth', or even 'Mary Elizabeth' etc. Anywhere a bullit (•) occurs indicates a direct ancestor of mine. Searching by Ahnentafel number only applies to my direct line. Infomation in lower case is was questionable/not proven/a guess but I am now transitioning the data from upper case to mixed case so both will appear. Dates will also appear in two different formats. Much of the information outside my line (cousins) is taken from personal contact with the researcher, books, wikipedia, RootsWeb, and other personal websites. A great deal of information in my line prior to 1775 is taken on faith. I have tried to collect and organize as much information as I can and present the accepted/most likely/best researched conclusions. To this end, I rely on the honesty and accuracy of other researchers. But the quantity over quality method has left much unchecked. I'm working on it. Anyone who has researched the Poythress/Atkinson/Gilliam/Baird lines in Virginia understands what a task this is. Questions, errors, and criticism can be pointed out to me by email
