Roll dated December 10, 1863, last on file, shows him "Absent, sent to Chattanooga, Tenn., per order General Smith, August 8, 1862." Wounded in 1864. Pension records show he was on detail in Q. M. Depot. September 7, 1862, to close of war. Paroled at Kingston, Ga. May 12, 1865.(Born in Ga. in 1833)
