Nash, Tandy Young-Enlisted as a private in Co. H, l0th Regiment Ga. State Troops October 21, 1861 Mustered out May 1862. Appointed 3d Sergeant of Co K, 36th Regt Ga. Inf. May 13, 1862. Elected Jr 2d Lieutenant May 1863. Captured at Vicksburg, Miss July 4, 1863, and paroled there July 9, 1863. Tendered his resignation for the purpose of joining 2d Regt Ga. Cavalry, but no record found of service in said regiment, September 5,1864. Resignation accepted November 7, 1864.
