Wynn J.Newton, Pvt., Enlisted 4/20/62, Stone Mountain, Surrendered Appomattox 4/9/65. PR Widow applied Gwinnett Co. 1/25/97. J.N. Wynn married Lucrecia C. Green 2/4/68. She had been a resident of GA since 1845, all her life. J.N. Wynn died 1/17/96 in Gwinnett Co. She stated that J.N. was present at the surrender. Witness P. F. Atkinson of Gwinnett came home on furlough 10/64, Witness J.I. Green enlisted 9/62 and left command after being wounded at Cedar Creek, and that J.N. Wynn was a good soldier and that he was with the company when J.I. joined and still with it when he left the day after the Cedar Creek Battle. Lucrecia died 12/29/28 in Fulton Co. where funeral expense was applied for. John Nuton Wynn 2/5/33 - 1/17/96 buried Fairview Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Gwinnett Co.
