Braden Minor L., 1Lt., Enlisted 4/9/62, Stone Mountain, Resigned 1/16/64. PR Applied 8/29/10 Gwinnett Co. He had been a GA resident since 1829. He served in the 12th GA from Spring of 1862 until he resigned 7/18/62. He left the command at Chattanooga, TN. His resignation was accepted by Gen. J.P. McCown. Witness' Joseph Gibson and N.M. Lankford. Gibson was home on wounded furlough and Lankford was home on sick furlough at the time of the surrender. Minor Lankford Braden 5/16/22 - 1/31/13 buried Braden Lankford Cemetery, Old Tucker Rd NW of Stone Mountain Lilburn Rd. He also served in the Mexican War.
