Bradford David, Pvt., Enlisted 4/24/62, Stone Mountain, Sick in Hospital, Charlotte, NC 9/10/64, last report. 1850 Census list David Bradford age 21, a farmer, living Gwinnett Co. in the household of Richard J. Bradford, a blacksmith. 1870 census list David Bradford living Gwinnett Co GA age 39. PR Applied 4/4/95 Gwinnett Co. Born 7/28 Gwinnett Co. Enlisted 1862 and served until the surrender. Formerly a farmer, now disable. Has a wife living and 2 children, Boy age 34, Girl age 20. Daughter lives with him. Witness W.A. Lester of Gwinnett Co. near Lawrenceville, stated that Bradford served over 2 years and was present at the surrender. Widow Mary F. Bradford applied Gwinnett Co. 2/28/01. She was born 12/36 in Gwinnett Co. They married in 1856. David Bradford died 9/8/96 in Gwinnett Co. Witness Andrew Garner of Gwinnett Co. stated that he, Garner, was captured 15 days before the surrender, he thinks that Bradford was present at the surrender. Records indicate that Mary drew a pension through 1907. David Bradford 7/26/28 - 9/8/96 buried Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery.
