His description: age 31?, eyes, black; hair, black; complexion, dark; height 6'1-1/2"; born, Hall County, GA; occupation, farmer. He was captured at Gettysburg and forwarded from Fort Delaware, Delaware, to Point Lookout, MD. He was admitted to the USA Small Pox Hospital, Point Lookout, on October 31, 1863, and died on November 9, 1863. Buried near hospital in an unmarked grave.
