Brown age 7 living Gwinnett Co. in the household of Sterlen E. Brown, a farmer. PR Widow Lizzie applied Fulton Co 9/13/10. She had been a resident of GA for 41 years. They married 9/24/68. Gilbert died 3/19/92 in Dekalb Co. Lizzie died 2/8/15 in Fulton Co. Witness' W.P. Brown and N.M. Lankford of Dekalb Co had known Gilbert since boyhood. They stated that they were present at the surrender, and that Gilbert was also.
