Brown William Elsbery, PR Widow Mrs. M.E. Brown Teat applied Fulton Co. 4/16/29. William married Miss. M.E. Dickens 1/28/68 in Dekalb Co. Enlisted into Capt. Johnson's Co. She stated that he was under age 18, and could not serve outside the state. He could not go to VA. He reenlisted into 2ed GA Res. W.E. Brown died 5/12/03 in Fulton Co. Widow M.E. Brown married I.L. Teat 11/18/15 in Dekalb Co. I.L. Teat died 2/15/29. M.E. Brown Teat died 7/26/32. Witness J.M. Nash, a member of 2ed GA Res. confirmed information. Witness H.F. Holmes of Chattanooga, a member of C Co. 12th GA Battalion stated that he knew W.E. Brown of Stone Mountain and Lawrenceville, and served with him in the 12th GA. They served together in Savannah, W.E. Brown took the place of Starling E. Brown. William E. Brown 5/14/45 - 5/12/03 & Wife Mary Dickens 1840 - 1932 both buried Shadowlawn or New Lawrenceville Cemetery.
