Clower John Thomas – 2nd Lieutenant - Enlisted as private in Company F 6th Georgia State troops Oct 21st 1861. April 16 1862 shows him present Mustered out of Savannah, Ga. Pension records show he was on detail duty in Virginia at the close of the war. Born May 13, 1830 Gwinnett County Georgia Death: Mar. 14, 1893 Brooks County Georgia, He was a second lieutenant, 9th GA Reg. CSA. He was the Regimental Surgeon. Battery D Ninth Georgia Light Artillery Gwinnett Artillery - Georgia Volunteers Mustered April 23rd, 1862 John married Delusky Ann Brogdon "Dalluska", daughter of Hope J Brogdon and Emily Bogan, on 31 Mar 1869 in Gwinnett Co, Ga. Dalluska was born on 7 May 1849 in Gwinnett Co, Ga. She died on 23 Feb 1931. Widows Pension says on detail duty at Danville, Virginia witness W.H. Sudderth also says enlisted April 1861 at Sugar Court Ground, Gwinnett County Georgia
