Cole, William C. -- Private - August 24, 1861. Discharged, disability, August 1861. Enlisted as a private in Company I, 63rd Regiment Georgia Infantry January 23, 1863. Roll for February 1864, last on file, shows him present. Pension records show he was left sick at Franklin, Tennessee December 1864, and was cut off from command by Federal Army in 1865. Captured and paroled at Macon, Georgia in 1865. (Resident of Georgia since December 1874.)
