Bagwell Robert J., Pvt., Enlisted 5/13/62, Stone Mountain, Died of Pneumonia, Dalton, GA hospital 11/3/62. 1850 Census list Robert J. Bagwell age 21, a farmer, living Gwinnett Co. in the household of Joel Kelly, a farmer. PR Widow Eliza Bagwell applied 4/10/91 Gwinnett Co. She stated that Robert died 11/1/62 at Dalton, GA. She arrived a few days latter and visited his grave there. He was taken with "Brain Fever". They married 3/10/51, she had been a GA resident since 10/12/29. Witness' John T. Atkinson, John W. Leopard, and W.P. Wynn. Eliza Bagwell of Lawrenceville, appointed John D. Bagwell as attorney in fact with authority to receive her pension. Robert Johnson Bagwell 1829 - 11/24/62 & Wife Rebecca Eliza Brannon 1835 - 1899 buried Oakland Community Cemetery, Old Norcross Rd.
